LOUIS VUITTON X MAXIME FRÉDÉRIC
On November 16, the French luxury Maison inaugurated LV Dream, its new cultural destination flirting with the world of gastronomy. The space, designed as a vast artistic exhibition on the first floor, hosts a chocolate shop and a café on the second floor, with a tropical decor, offering the delicacies of Maxime Frédéric, the sweet note of the Cheval Blanc in Paris, and elected best pastry chef of the year by the Gault & Millau guide. The chocolate signature of the Norman man bears the brand’s monogram and is presented in emblematic orange boxes.
24S X TAL SPIEGEL
24S, the luxury platform of the LVMH Group, has launched an ephemeral patisserie in the trendy Marais district of Paris, at 48, rue Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie. These creations are the signature of pastry chef influencer Tal Spiegel from Tel Aviv. The seven pieces revisit with mischief the iconic pieces of the fashion world, such as the “Peansie Beanie” the beanie of Acne Studio and the oval “Swipe Bag” of Coperni. Balmain’s fuchsia pink jacket with six gold buttons is actually a raspberry financier, while Courrèges’ “Réédition” vinyl skirt is made with an almond crunch.
La Patisserie 24s is open from December 7 to 14
FIGARET X JEFFREY CAGNES
For Christmas, chef Jeffrey Cagnes signed for the French shirt specialist “ Figaret “, a worker’s jacket in flannel and black moleskin, with a style inspired by the frank fall of kitchen aprons. A limited edition of 160 pieces.
This revisitation of one of the house’s flagship models reveals in the inside pocket the visual recipe for Figaret and a voucher to pick up this sweetness in the two Parisian boutiques of the pastry chef. This cake, created exclusively for this hybrid collab between ready-to-wear and pastry, is made of dark chocolate, cocoa and muscovado sugar and crowned with a gourmet touch of gold.
