The Maison will Channel Its Genius Spectacle into a Mountain Weekend on American Soil

Moncler, known for turning runway shows into immersive spectacles echoing its alpine heritage, after staging productions in Saint-Moritz, Courchevel, and Shanghai’s 30,000-square-metre pavilion — complete with costumes, collaborators like A$AP Rocky and Rick Owens, and live streams to millions — the Maison will bring that energy to the U.S. The brand will present its Moncler Grenoble FW26/27 collection in Aspen, Colorado, on January 31, 2026 — its first U.S. runway show.
Moncler chose the high‑altitude elegance of Aspen for a reason. This is where it opened its first U.S. boutique in 2008. The Colorado ski resort embodies the brand’s roots and reaches its audience directly. This collection, technical and refined, speaks to mountain life—from pistes to après‑ski—and Moncler is staging it outdoors, promising a dramatic weekend of style and snow.
From Shanghai to Aspen: Moncler’s Signature Strategy Goes Stateside
When Moncler staged City of Genius in Shanghai, it transformed a shipyard into a futuristic alpine playground. Ten creative collaborators — including A$AP Rocky, Willow Smith, and Rick Owens — built neighborhoods as part of the Genius platform. It felt more like a festival than Fashion Week, drawing 8,000 guests and 57 million live-stream viewers.
Aspen now becomes the Maison’s next stage. Moncler operates 47 stores across the U.S., including flagships on Prince Street and Madison Avenue in New York. In early 2026, the brand will inaugurate its largest global store: a two-level, 2,200 m² flagship at 767 Fifth Avenue in the GM Building.
By bringing the show to Aspen, the Maison connects storytelling with its U.S. expansion, anchoring product drama in a location tied to its history since 2008.
