Jean Imbert Brings Disney’s Charm to the Table with Haute Cuisine
March 26, 2025 – Paris Restaurants, Jean Imbert Disneyland Restaurant “La Forêt Secrète”

Disneyland Paris has taken dining to a whole new level with the unveiling of La Forêt Secrète, Jean Imbert‘s first gourmet restaurant located in the iconic Disneyland Hotel. Opened in early March, this enchanted French culinary adventure, infused with Disney magic, transports you to a world of magical flavors and artistic presentation, where childhood memories come alive on your plate.
Situated on the third floor of the Disneyland Hotel, La Forêt Secrète immerses diners in a dreamy, forest-inspired atmosphere. The restaurant features 55 seats, each offering a perfect view of the hotel’s surroundings and the Disneyland Paris park. Step inside and feel as though you’ve entered a mystical woodland. Banquettes upholstered in lush foliage, deep green curtains, flickering candles, and a grand Murano glass chandelier elevate the atmosphere, creating a cozy yet lavish environment.
The attention to detail is evident in the handcrafted murals depicting enchanted forests where anything can happen. The tables are set with immaculate white tablecloths, Bernardaud dinnerware featuring delicate plant motifs, and Christofle silverware, adding a touch of elegance to every bite.
A Culinary Adventure Inspired by Disney Classics
Jean Imbert, known for his Michelin-starred expertise and his childhood admiration for Disney, has created a menu that pays homage to classic Disney films with a fine dining twist. Inspired by memories of his visits to Disneyland Paris, Imbert crafts dishes that are both recognizable and subtly refined.
Start your meal with “Sous l’Océan,” an appetizer inspired by The Little Mermaid, featuring langoustines, shellfish, and a touch of caviar. Then, venture into “Le Tajine du Prince Ali,” an entrée inspired by Aladdin, where chicken stuffed with dates and dried fruit is paired with delicate vegetables. Another standout is “La Ratatouille de Rémy,” a sophisticated take on the beloved classic from Ratatouille, made with tomato water and white balsamic.
For the main course, “La Cocotte des Caraïbes” brings a taste of the tropics with tuna, passionfruit vinaigrette, and a spicy tamarind sauce, a nod to Pirates of the Caribbean. Meanwhile, “Les Spaghetti de Tony et Joe,” inspired by the famous spaghetti scene in Lady and the Tramp, features veal confit and a rich Comté cheese emulsion.

Delightful Desserts and Disney-Inspired Treats
The desserts at La Forêt Secrète are just as imaginative, continuing the storybook theme. “Le Sable de l’Arche Perdue,” inspired by Indiana Jones, is a mix of lemon, caramel, and almond crumble—a perfect balance of tangy and sweet. If you’re a fan of chocolate, the “Soufflé Mickey” will leave you mesmerized, a Peruvian chocolate soufflé with a hazelnut praline center.
For the young ones, the children’s menu offers its own magic. “La Soupe de la Fée Marraine,” a dish inspired by Cinderella, features gnocchis made from pumpkin and chestnut, while “Le Festival des Lanternes,” a tribute to Tangled, serves a delightful fish and chips dish with homemade tartar sauce.
