AYALA’S ROSE MAJEUR WILL SEDUCE YOU WITH ITS DELIGHTFUL FRESHNESS – A PINK-TONED MARRIAGE OF GRAPE VARIETIES TO SAVOR IN THE SUMMERTIME.

Rosé Majeur embodies the originality and delicacy of Ayala Champagne. It is composed of a dominant of Chardonnay (50%), the emblematic grape variety of the House, which brings purity and balance to the mixture. Blended with the Chardonnay, the Pinot Noirs come from the best vintages of the Montagne de Reims – here more elaborated on the fruit side than on the structure. The delicate notes of raspberries and redcurrants are brought by the red wine, in small proportion in the assembly (6%), and elaborated exclusively from Pinot Noir of Ay, Grand Cru appreciated for its generosity.

Rosé Majeur is a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, including 6% red wine from the Pinots Noirs d’Ay, classified as Grand Cru and 10% Meunier. The low dosage – 7 grams per liter – is the signature of the House. It underlines the beautiful freshness and elegance of a great rosé blend. The spirit of the house is first and foremost a story of delicacy, subtly balanced. Rosé Majeur’s sober and elegant pink-toned packaging, as well as its elegant train of bubbles, make this rosé champagne the ideal partner for your summer dinners. It is ideal to accompany a semi-cooked salmon filet, a lamb chop or for dessert with a red fruit tart. Its exquisite finish is built on the persistence of the fruit -voluptuous and melted.

AYALA

Ayala is a prestigious Champagne house best known for its natural champagne with no added sugar at disgorgement. In 1855, Edmond de Ayala, son of a Colombian diplomat, went to the Viscount de Mareuil‘s house to learn wine making. There he met Gabrielle d’Albrecht, the niece of the viscount. They got married in 1858 and Gabrielle gave him the Château d’Aÿ and a magnificent vineyard as a dowry. This is how the Ayala house was born, a visionary soul with a charming name from overseas. A few years ago, the house adopted a new identity: a contemporary, graphic and chiseled aesthetic style, reflecting the new reception and tasting site. Ayala belongs to the Ayala and Co subsidiary of the company Champagne Bollinger since 2005.
