Once again, Maison Breguet confirms its presence at the 2021 edition of Only Watch, a major charity event organized by the Monegasque Muscular Dystrophy Association, but also a highly anticipated moment in the international watchmaking calendar.
Inaugurated in 2005, this biennial event has enjoyed the support of Breguet and the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco since its inception. Sensitive to the seriousness of these diseases and keen to affirm his commitment to the fight against childhood illnesses, Marc A. Hayek, President of Montres Breguet, will once again donate a unique timepiece.
THE ONLY WATCH 2021 TYPE XX CHRONOGRAPH
The House of Breguet will present a faithful re-edition of its famous pilot’s watch, produced as a unique piece for the 2021 edition of Only Watch. This new version pays tribute to the civilian versions of the Type XX chronograph from the 1950s and 1960s, scrupulously reproducing the visual and mechanical codes of this emblematic watch.
Round steel case. Solid back with engraving “Breguet Type XX Only Watch 2021 Unique Type“. Diameter 38.30 mm. Thickness 13.90 mm. Bi-directional rotating bezel, graduated, with a triangular marker for in-flight calculations. Rounded lugs. Flat crown. Water-resistant to 3 bar (30m).
Bronze dial, signed Breguet. Hour circle with luminescent Arabic numerals. 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock. Small second at 9 o’clock. Chronograph counter in the center. Luminescent “syringe” type hands.
