THE PENINSULA PARIS CELEBRATES THE SEASON OF SHARING AND GENEROSITY: CHRISTMAS TREE, SPECIAL CARE, FESTIVE TREATS AND JOYFUL FAMILY MOMENTS FOR UNFORGETTABLE HOLIDAYS.

Christmas has the remarkable power to bring us together in joy and harmony. Taking the time to be surrounded by loved ones is precious. This Festive Season, The Peninsula hotels invite you to gather together to rediscover traditional festive tales and share exquisite holiday meals in style. For nearly a century, The Peninsula hotels have combined timeless elegance with exceptional service and celebrated the generosity and friendliness of the season.

The Christmas tree will be beautifully decorated with “Stories from the Tree” characters, as well as other ornaments that will immerse the hotel in a festive world. This year it’s the Reindeer who comes to life through a children’s story and goes on a journey of discovery of Christmas traditions, for the fourth and final adventure in this series.

MAGIC OF FLAVORS BETWEEN CONVIVIALITY AND GASTRONOMY

The two Christmas chalets will be back on the Kléber Terrace and you will be able to find throughout the month of December sweet and savoury creations, such as French toast with comté cheese, truffles and Wagyu beef, lobster and citrus baba, Puff pastry with praline, chestnut and blackcurrant pancakes, as well as comforting drinks such as the classic hot chocolate with Timut pepper, or a hot (white) wine infused with apples and Christmas spices made by Chef Sommelier Florent Martin.

RACINE, AN EXQUISITELY GOURMET CHRISTMAS LOG

The Racine log evokes the Norman origins shared by Anne Coruble, in charge of pastry creations for the hotel, and Executive Chef David Bizet. Together, they have worked on raw products to recall, at the time of tasting, the visual and olfactory memories of a wooded nature, recognizable by apple trees in the gardens and embers crackling in the fireplace.

Combining authenticity, delicacy, and the generosity of a festive dessert, the Racine log has a crunchy chocolate shell, which reveals when lifted, an entremets composed of a vanilla ganache infused with roasted apple leaf, a creamy raw milk and Madagascar chocolate smoked with apple wood, a creamy caramel with apple notes, all on a crispy cocoa cookie

LA GALETTE DES ROIS

To conclude this holiday season in style, Anne Coruble and Chef David Bizet propose an all-chocolate “Galette des Rois“, with woody and spicy notes. This dessert is composed of a crispy puff pastry with roasted cocoa nibs, a generous cream of raw almonds with 75% Indonesian chocolate, and a smooth 65% Indonesian chocolate ganache with smoked salt. This tasty chocolate creation will undoubtedly bring together young and old for a moment of sharing and conviviality.

A SEASON OF GIVING

Always in the spirit of friendliness and generosity, in each property of The Peninsula Hotels, the reindeer character from the “Stories from the Tree” series will be available for purchase as an ornament, with five euros from each sale going to the Les Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation, which supports youth empowerment. An additional five euros will be donated to the same organization for each sale of a festive Afternoon Tea composed of sweet and savory delights.

The Reindeer tale, as well as the three previous volumes featuring the Nutcracker, the Gingerbread Man, and the Robin, will be available digitally on peninsula.com. They will also be, for the first time, collected in a beautiful collection of books available for sale, of which ten euros will be raised for the Les Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation supported by the hotel.
