LA PONCHE, ONE OF THE SMALLEST AND MOST SECRET 5 STAR HOTELS IN SAINT-TROPEZ HAS RECENTLY BEEN ENTIRELY REVAMPED – AND IT REOPENED ON JUNE 14, 2021.
From a modest fishermen’s bar to the favorite spot of mythical personalities like Jean-Paul Sartre and Brigitte Bardot, Hotel La Ponche is located in the heart of Saint-Tropez‘s old town. Not only is this place impregnated with the typical French spirit of festivity and freedom, but it also has the charm of an intimate, vintage and homely location attached to its values and its history.
The hotel, which reopened on June 14, 2021 now belongs to Nicolas Saltiel and his associate, who have completely renovated the space these past 8 months. La Ponche has been revamped in a way to ensure that it keeps its history and its charm. The hotel directly faces the beach of La Ponche, and has a total of 21 rooms, including 5 lovely suites with balconies and terraces overlooking the sea.
The new version of La Ponche will feature a gastronomic restaurant ran by chef Thomas Danigo, a stylish bar designed to reconnect with the past, the Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and a Tiger Yoga Club SPA to make the best out of your stay. Photos of the actual renovated hotel have not yet been released – but we can’t wait to witness the magic in person.
