To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, guests staying in the Royal Suite on the weekend of June 4 will have the privilege of visiting the Tower of London as part of the “Crown Jewels and Royal Coronation Regalia” experience. An extraordinarily rare chance to be inside a royal palace and world heritage site on Platinum Jubilee days.
Guests who choose the Crown Jewels and Royal Coronation Regalia experience will be driven to the Tower in a Daimler limousine that once belonged to the Queen Mother. They will arrive in the evening, when the Tower of London is closed to the public, for a private tour.
Once inside, an exclusive tour of the grounds will be given by one of the Queen’s Beefeaters – the Tower’s guardians, followed by a champagne aperitif and a private tour of the Crown Jewels and the Royal Collection in the House of Jewels.
Among the treasures on display are the world’s largest diamond, St. Edward’s Crown, and the 17th-century solid gold Sovereign’s Orb used at coronations, as well as the 20th century Imperial State Crown, set with 2,868 diamonds, 17 sapphires, 11 emeralds, 269 pearls and four rubies.
The experience includes also a Tea Time in the elegant Oscar Wilde Lounge where you will learn the characteristics of an Afternoon Tea in the purest English tradition. In the early evening, a selection of signature cocktails will be offered in the sumptuous Green Bar.
Available throughout the summer, this experience includes a visit to an iconic Mayfair jeweler with a royal warrant to view a display of royal tiaras and fine jewelry, with a glass of champagne in the jeweler’s elegant private room.

The Crown Jewels and Royal Coronation Regalia experience is available to guests staying in the Royal Suite for £12,295 including tax per night. It is available from June 1 to October 1, 2022
The Royal Jewels and Afternoon Tea experience is available to guests staying in any room or suite category for £1,835 including tax and is available from June 1 to October 1
