THIS SUMMER, MANDARIN ORIENTAL PARIS FEATURES A NEW SELECTION OF DELICACIES AND REFRESHING COCKTAILS TO BE ENJOYED IN THE SHADE OF THE VEGETATION OF ITS INTERIOR GARDEN

On the menu: new cocktails at Hendrick’s ephemeral terrace, a new menu of homemade ice cream creations by Pastry Chef Adrien Bozzolo, and a new brunch formula designed by Thierry Marx at the Camélia restaurant

On the Bar 8 side, the terrace is decked out in the colors of Hendrick‘s and offers a menu of cocktails revisited with the iconic Scottish brand of gin throughout the summer: The Bar 8 terrace is a real oasis nestled in the heart of the hotel’s interior garden. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a refreshing cocktail in the shade of its lush vegetation.

The terrace’s décor is inspired by the botanical and poetic universe of Hendrick’s master distiller, Lesley Gracie, and her Scottish Cabinet of Curiosities, where she keeps her elixirs from plants grown in her own greenhouses or discovered during her travels around the world.

On the Camellia side, Pastry Chef Adrien Bozzolo has prepared for the summer season a menu of artisanal ice creations, as original as they are tasty: The garden of the Mandarin Oriental, Paris is the ideal place to succumb to the unavoidable icy pleasures of summer. To delight young and old alike, Adrien Bozzolo gives pride of place to homemade ice cream delights in all their forms:

  • The generous and gourmet cups, including the Saint Ho, an iced version of the signature pastry of Mandarin Oriental, Paris, the Saint- Honoré;
  • Traditional scoops of ice cream and sorbets;
  • A frozen pastry creation: the Tropézienne, composed of flaky brioche, vanilla and orange blossom ice cream, vanilla whipped cream;
  • Pistachio or coffee sticks and apricot ice cream tubes, real Proust’s madeleines revisited.
