Max Mara Resort Collection Heads to Naples for a Glamorous Showcase

Max Mara is embarking on another journey, this time heading to the iconic Bay of Naples for its Resort 2026 Collection. The Italian fashion powerhouse announced the event will take place on June 16 and 17, 2025, marking the next chapter in the brand’s tradition of spectacular destination showcases.
While details about the exact location and the promised “experience” remain under wraps, Naples follows a legacy of extraordinary Max Mara events in prestigious settings. This isn’t the first time the brand has drawn inspiration from the region. In 2021, Max Mara hosted a glamorous evening at the Mezzatore Hotel and Spa on the island of Ischia, just off Naples’ northern coastline. That collection, influenced by Truman Capote’s 1950s springtime stay on the island, celebrated aristocratic elegance with nods to the writer’s legendary fascination with swans.
Under the creative direction of Ian Griffiths, Max Mara has built a reputation for hosting its collections in iconic cultural landmarks around the globe. From the Neues Museum in Berlin to the Whitney Museum in New York and the Gulbenkian Institute in Lisbon, each venue adds a distinct narrative to the brand’s collections. Most recently, in May 2024, Max Mara took center stage at the Palazzo Ducale in Venice, showcasing its sophisticated designs amidst Venetian grandeur.
Naples represents the next step in this artistic journey. Known for its vibrant history, stunning coastline, and rich cultural heritage, the city offers the perfect backdrop for a Max Mara collection.
Italy: The Heart of Cruise Season
Italy is emerging as the epicenter for the upcoming cruise season. Alongside Max Mara’s Naples showcase, other major fashion houses are choosing Italian destinations to present their Resort 2026 collections. Chanel will unveil its collection on Lake Como on April 29, while Gucci returns to its roots with a show in Florence on May 15.
