January 28, 2025 – Men Fashion Trends 2025, Paris Men Fashion Week

Paris Men’s Fashion Week 2025 unveiled an exciting chapter in menswear. The collections brought forth fresh ideas, highlighting key themes poised to shape wardrobes in the coming season. Designers experimented with textured outerwear, breathing new life into shearling and fur. Tailoring embraced a playful twist, with unexpected colors and relaxed silhouettes. Cultural fusion emerged as a major narrative, marrying global influences to create a new language of style. Kimono-inspired designs and hybrid aesthetics showcased how tradition and style can coexist. The Paris runway proved that menswear trends are evolving with personality and purpose.

Here’s a breakdown of Men’s Fashion Trends in 2025 based on the most striking looks from Paris.

Shearling and Texture Dominate Outerwear

Seen at: Yves Salomon, Sacai, Berluti

The spotlight shone brightly on textured outerwear this season, as designers introduced fresh approaches to shearling, fur, and other tactile materials. With a strong focus on maintaining sharp, wearable designs. Versatility emerged as a key theme, allowing these pieces to transition effortlessly from casual outings to more formal settings.

Yves Salomon set the tone with an exquisite range of cozy, oversized shearling jackets. Ribbed shearling details created deep visual intrigue, while iridescent mink coats offered a contemporary update to traditional fur. These pieces, featuring subtle metallic undertones, were paired with velvet-textured corduroy trousers, creating a sophisticated interplay of textures.

The collection didn’t stop there. Rock star-inspired jackets, such as a cropped lynx fur bomber, exuded confidence and flair. To complete the look, Salomon included accessories like cashmere hoodies and fur-trimmed scarves, which further reinforced the collection’s sophisticated yet approachable aesthetic.

Berluti presented a more refined take on textured outerwear, focusing on corduroy jackets and deconstructed silhouettes. The soft earth tones like camel, olive, and deep burgundy, provided a tactile edge to classic menswear. Berluti’s wide-cut corduroy jacket with a high collar and subtle stitching, paired with tailored wool trousers is a stand-out for this season.

Colorful Tailoring Gets a Playful Spin

Seen at: Kenzo, Officine Générale, Amiri

Tailoring this season stepped away from muted tones and traditional suits, embracing vivid colors. It’s no longer confined to the traditional but instead plays with endless possibilities for self-expression.

Amiri reimagined tailoring through a Hollywood lens, presenting wide-leg trousers, silk shirts, and leather trench coats in rich autumnal shades. The silhouettes were dramatic, with sharp collars and exaggerated proportions. This approach turned formalwear into something vibrant and cinematic, perfect for those looking to make a statement.

Kenzo introduced sorbet hues like lime, pink, and green, breathing fresh energy into mohair cardigans and structured jackets. The bright tones gave the collection a playful edge while maintaining a sharp, tailored aesthetic.

Officine Générale stayed true to its Parisian roots with layered looks that combined tweed, marinières, and wool. The collection balanced classic tailoring with unexpected details, such as scarves tied at the neck and carabiners as accessories, injecting a sense of individuality into polished ensembles.

Cultural Fusion:

Seen at: Kenzo, Amiri, Sacai

Cultural fusion reinvents heritage for today’s wardrobe, reimagining traditional elements through a contemporary lens. The concept was brought to life in collections by Kenzo, Sacai, and Amiri, with each designer presenting a unique interpretation of global influences.

At Kenzo, the collection merged Japanese and French design codes seamlessly. Kimono-inspired denim pieces were layered with tailored trousers, while embroidered floral motifs referenced both cultures’ rich textile histories. Bright, saturated colors like lime and pink infused energy into these structured designs, introducing a fresh take on cross-cultural style.

Sacai explored cultural fusion with utilitarian outerwear enhanced by heritage-inspired details. Oversized parkas featured faux-fur trims and bold patterns, while collaborations with Carhartt introduced functional elements paired with artistic touches. The collection balanced global references and practical menswear staples, making a strong case for hybrid aesthetics.

Minimalist Refinement

Seen at: That’s So Armani, Amiri

This season, eveningwear embraced a more polished direction, focusing on clean lines, premium materials, and striking details. Although not part of Paris Fashion Week, Armani followed up his Fall-Winter collection presented at Milan Men’s Fashion Week with a capsule aptly titled That’s So Armani. Here, he presented formal dressing with a contemporary twist, where sharp tailoring captured the essence of effortless refinement.

Navy and black dominated the palette, while materials like vicuña, cashmere, and fine wool elevated each piece. Double-breasted blazers, sleek trousers, and structured coats introduced a pared-down yet unmistakably elegant aesthetic. The collection catered to the modern man who values simplicity without sacrificing impact.
