This Christmas, the worlds of fine jewelry and gourmet pastry converge in Paris as Messika partners with Le Meurice to create a stunning trompe-l’oeil yule log, inspired by the iconic Move collection. This unique collaboration between Valérie Messika, founder of the celebrated Parisian jewelry house, and François Deshayes, pastry chef at the legendary Le Meurice, has produced a masterpiece designed to dazzle the senses and capture the holiday magic

This yule log is a true work of art, crafted as an edible homage to Messika’s Move jewelry line. The Messika x Le Meurice creation infuses haute joaillerie into the rich flavors of French pâtisserie. Inside, layers of praline with a hint of fleur de sel add a touch of crunch and subtle saltiness, while a creamy, rich chocolate center pairs perfectly with a flourless cocoa biscuit base. A vanilla-infused cream made from Madagascar vanilla balances the flavors, creating a smooth and indulgent harmony in every bite.


Inspired by jewelry boxes, the yule log also comes encased in a chocolate shell crafted by Alain Ducasse. This chocolate cover, filled with vanilla and fleur de sel praline, makes every bite feel like a decadent reveal.

Chef Deshayes describes the dessert as “a yule log that invites you to play.” With the trompe-l’oeil elements, guests are encouraged to lift the chocolate cover, savor the vanilla “diamonds,” and enjoy the praline filling.

Available Exclusively at Le Meurice This Holiday Season

Starting November 23, the Messika x Le Meurice limited-edition yule log will be exclusively available at Le Meurice’s famed Restaurant Le Dalí.
