Milan Men’s Fashion Week Adapts with a Slimmer Schedule for 2025

January 7, 2024 – Men Fashion Weeks, Milan

Milan Men Fashion Week 2025

The Fall/Winter 2025/26 menswear season kicks off with Pitti Uomo, running from January 14 to 17. Following closely, Milan Men’s Fashion Week will take place from January 17 to 21.

Milan’s schedule has been scaled back this season to 68 events, including 20 fashion shows (16 physical and 4 digital), 38 presentations, 3 presentations by appointment, and 7 special events. This marks a significant drop from the 84 events in the previous June edition, reflecting ongoing challenges in the industry as several major brands adjust their strategies to navigate economic pressures.

The January calendar sees only 16 live shows, including Giorgio Armani’s double appearance, alongside four digital showcases to close the week. However, notable brands like Moschino, Dsquared2, MSGM, Neil Barrett, J.W. Anderson, and Billionaire will not present. British designer Martine Rose is also absent, passing the torch to emerging London talent Saul Nash.

Gucci and Fendi have opted to showcase their menswear alongside womenswear during Milan’s February Fashion Week. Fendi’s show will mark the beginning of its centenary celebrations, with Silvia Venturini Fendi overseeing the collection in the absence of a creative director for womenswear.

According to Carlo Capasa, president of the Italian Fashion Chamber (CNMI), “The current crisis has pushed several houses to forego their men’s shows, reducing costs as a necessary act of resilience.” Despite the challenges, mixed shows in February highlight the evolving strategies within the fashion industry.

Newcomers and Returning Favorites

Milan Men Fashion Week 2025 edition welcomes three new designers to the runway. French designer Pierre-Louis Mascia will open the week on Friday, January 17, at 4 p.m., marking his Milan debut after showing at Pitti Uomo in June. That same day, Italian streetwear brand PDF by Domenico Formichetti will make its first Milan appearance. Later in the week, London-based designer and choreographer Saul Nash will debut with a dynamic collection designed for movement.

Four digital showcases will close the event on Tuesday, January 21, spotlighting global talent: Carnet-Archive, Saudi Arabian label KLM, upcycling-focused Indian brand Rkive City, and Ghanaian designer Victor Hart.

Presentations and Industry Stalwarts

The presentation schedule includes 38 brands, with 11 fresh names like Blauer x Pirelli, Federico Cina, Grossi, People of Shibuya, and Qasimi. These new additions bring energy and diversity to the lineup.

Despite the scaled-back program, Milan still retains its iconic pillars. Giorgio Armani, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Zegna will showcase their collections. Philipp Plein and Pronounce return to the calendar after skipping the previous season

The official calendar, detailing showtimes, participating designers, and event locations, is curated by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI). For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please refer to the CNMI’s official calendar: Milan Fashion Week Calendar.
