NICKY ZIMMERMANN MAINTAINS ITS MOMENTUM. WHAT WAS ONCE JUST A VERY ACCESSIBLE SWIMWEAR BRAND IS NOW A FULL-FLEDGED FASHION HOUSE, AS EVIDENCED BY ITS LATEST COLLECTION

Zimmermann Autumn/Winter Ready-to-wear 22 collection reveals a certain spirit of modernist grandeur throughout the entire collection, from bell-sleeved dresses with kaleidoscopic floral patterns to matching pants and shirts with zodiac-inspired prints to floral patchwork empire-waist dresses or zippered sweaters with cosmic prints.

The collection was presented in the form of a stylish lookbook and video by Michelle Jank, where we can see models wearing malachite-studded headbands or intricate stone necklaces, all wearing velvet platform sandals or satin loafers. The pieces created an imperial silhouette, with raised shoulders, long collars and gathered sleeves, for a great fashion show inspired by the astrological illustrations of Anita Inverarity.

The collection’s main focus is on the large ruffled dresses in cosmic combinations of multicolored flowers and celestial ornaments, but the highlight of the collection is the large ruffled dresses in cosmic combinations of multicolored flowers and celestial ornaments.

Also, the strongest point of the collection is the big ruffled dresses, declined in cosmic combinations of multicolored flowers and heavenly orbs. These looks are rather ambitious and require a certain amount of boldness – but if you have enough grace and sass, as most Zimmerman customers do, you’ll love this collection.
