EXPLORE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF PARIS FASHION WEEK: SPRING/SUMMER 2025 COLLECTIONS, EMERGING DESIGNERS, AND MUST-ATTEND EVENTS

Paris Fashion Week kicks off today with a lineup featuring iconic brands, fresh faces, and a mix of runway shows and presentations, this season will present plenty of surprises. Running until October 1, the Spring/Summer 2025 collections will blend tradition with cutting-edge creativity, making this

The most anticipated moment? Alessandro Michele’s debut at Valentino on September 29. After months of speculation, Michele will unveil his first collection, combining men’s and women’s fashion on one runway.

Gabriela Hearst returns to Paris after a four-year hiatus. She’ll present her latest collection on September 30, with high expectations surrounding her comeback. Joining her on October 1 is Peter Do, marking his return after a year off from the Paris schedule.

Chemena Kamali (Chloé), Seán McGirr (Alexander McQueen), and Pelagia Kolotouros (Lacoste) are back for their second shows. All three wowed audiences with their first collections, and the excitement is building for what they’ll present this season.

Alainpaul, a rising star, is making his official Paris Fashion Week debut on September 24. Known for his gender-fluid designs and ballet-inspired fashion, Alainpaul is one to watch on Sept 24. His off-calendar show last year caused a stir, and all eyes will be on his next move.

Alongside big names like Dior, Saint Laurent, Hermès, Balenciaga, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton, emerging talents are stepping into the spotlight. Ellen Hodakova Larsson, the LVMH Prize winner, will present on September 24, and Duran Lantink, winner of the Karl Lagerfeld Prize, will show his work on September 29.

However, some well-known names are missing. Y/Project won’t be presenting after the exit of designer Glenn Martens, while Victoria/Tomas closed their doors in June. Dawei, Gauchère, and Ludovic de Saint Sernin opted for presentations, bypassing the high costs of full runway shows. Chanel is back at the Grand Palais on October 1, but it will be their first without a creative head, following Virginie Viard’s departure.

For the first time ever, Danish brand Ganni will show in Paris. Scheduled for September 24, this off-calendar event is sure to make an impression.

Today’s lineup kicks off with shows from Weinsanto and Vaquera, alongside CFCL.

L’Oréal Paris is once again turning Place de l’Opéra into a catwalk today. ‘Le Défilé’ celebrates diversity and empowerment, with ambassadors like Viola Davis and Jane Fonda gracing the runway. Expect this glamorous show to set the tone for the week ahead.

Coperni will end Paris Fashion Week in style, taking guests to Disneyland on October 1 for its Spring/Summer 2025 RTW show. It’s expected to bring fashion and entertainment to new heights, a fitting close to a packed week.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Paris Fashion Week without some unforgettable parties. Le Grand Bal at Maxim’s on September 25 promises to be one of the most glamorous affairs of the season. With a “dress to impress” code, guests are expected to bring their best looks.
