Paris Men’s Fashion Week Returns January 21-26
January 8, 2025 – Paris Men’s Fashion Week
Fashion is in flux. The close of 2024 brought seismic shifts in the industry, with major designer appointments reshaping its landscape. John Galliano exited Maison Margiela after a decade, Matthieu Blazy took over at Chanel, and Sarah Burton assumed creative direction at Givenchy. Meanwhile, Kim Jones departed Fendi to focus solely on Dior Men, and Haider Ackermann stepped in to helm Tom Ford.
As we enter 2025, this transitional energy sets the stage for an exciting menswear season.
Men’s Fashion Week’s season kicks off on January 14, 2025, with Pitti Uomo in Florence, a cornerstone of menswear. Themed “Fire,” this 107th edition gathers over 700 brands at the Fortezza da Basso, across five curated zones. Notably, this year’s guest designer is Setchu by Satoshi Kuwata, known for avant-garde takes on menswear, and MM6 Maison Margiela, which brings its experimental spirit to Florence for the first time.
The momentum continues in Milan (January 17-21), where iconic houses like Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Zegna unveil their A/W 2026 collections. While Fendi and Gucci shift to a co-ed presentation in February, Milan retains its allure with Dunhill, Emporio Armani, and Saul Nash making waves. Prada, led by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, is particularly anticipated for its trend-defining prowess.
Paris Men’s Fashion Week
All eyes then turn to Paris from January 21-26, where the most show-packed schedule awaits. This season features a dynamic lineup of 68 prestigious houses, including 38 exclusive shows and 30 presentations. Notably, Pharrell Williams kicks off the week with his latest Louis Vuitton Menswear collection, promising a star-studded front row. Following him is Kim Jones, who presents his Dior Men showcase as he consolidates his vision after leaving Fendi.
This season also welcomes exciting newcomers. Willy Chavarria will hold his debut show in the capital on January 24, joined by SS Daley, making his first appearance in Paris. Jacquemus returns with a dedicated menswear presentation, while Rick Owens is expected to resume his signature dark, architectural explorations at the Palais de Tokyo. Issey Miyake debuts its IM Men line, adding a fresh perspective to the schedule.
Among the key highlights, Peter Copping makes his highly anticipated debut for Lanvin, closing the week on January 26, presenting both men’s and women’s collections. Additionally, Hed Mayner takes Loewe’s former slot on January 25 at noon, following Loewe’s decision to merge its men’s and women’s presentations in March.
The presentation schedule features a mix of rising talent and established names. Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, Les Fleurs Studio, and Post Archive Faction are among the brands making waves, with each bringing a unique vision to the Paris stage. Meanwhile, brands like Bianca Saunders shift from runway shows to presentations, further diversifying the lineup.
