LOCATED ON A SPECTACULAR TERRACE AT THE FOOT OF THE HIGHEST HOTEL IN THE WORLD, SAL IS A NEW CONTEMPORARY POP-UP ENVELOPPED IN MIRRORS – TO RELAX AND SAVOR

If you’re hesitating between a beach day or a refined meal, you don’t have to choose anymore. The renowned Burj Al Arab in Dubai has revealed a new chic and relaxed restaurant, located on a gorgeous 10,000 m² terrace facing the sea. The hotel has never ceased to amaze by constantly pushing the architectural boundaries, with its sail shape and infinity pool – and it has done it once again.

SAL is a whole concept in itself: a restaurant built entirely with mirrors, a bohemian chic atmosphere, pastel colors reflecting the blue of the sky, marine decor and exotic touches… And as for the fabric, a mix of braided rope, light wood, embroidery that all make this place feel like a daydream.

Headed by Michelin-starred master of Mediterranean cuisine Marco Garfagnini, the restaurant offers meals inspired by the seafood delicacies of Europe’s Iberian Peninsula – it is no coincidence that it is called “sal”, which means salt in Spanish. On the menu, you’ll find Spanish and Portuguese flavours to pair with exquisite wines while glancing at the sunset ahead and the beautiful Arabic sea. To cool off after a delicious meal, guests can take advantage of two large pools, including a 100-meter-long infinity pool and Jacuzzis.
