More than 50 yachts will gather at Phuket Yacht Haven Marina for the Thailand International Boat Show 2027, with production models, superyachts, yacht premieres and marine innovation on the water.

The 2027 edition puts a stronger focus on the top end of the market with its Superyachts Hub, while the marina programme includes yacht premieres, sea trials, waterside hospitality and a VIP lounge. Luxury property, resorts and travel are also represented across the show.

The week starts on January 13 with the Thailand Yachting Conference at The Slate Phuket, gathering prominent figures from yachting, luxury travel, hospitality and related industries.

Singapore Art Week celebrates its 15th edition with 11 days of contemporary art across the city. The week spreads through museums, cultural institutions, private galleries, independent art spaces, public locations, and private homes, creating a citywide program around Singapore and Southeast Asia's contemporary art scene.

The National Arts Council has placed particular emphasis on collaboration between Singaporean and Southeast Asian artists, curators, and producers, as well as interdisciplinary and participatory projects.

Art Basel Qatar stages its second edition across M7 and the Doha Design District, placing contemporary art within the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha. Presented in partnership with Qatar Sports Investments and QC+, the fair connects galleries, artists, collectors and cultural institutions from the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and the international art market. Artistic Director Wassan Al-Khudhairi leads the 2027 edition under the theme between / بين, examining the idea of existing between places, identities, perspectives and states. The fair opens first to invited guests on January 26 and 27, followed by public days from January 28–30.

The I.C.E. St. Moritz places some of the world's most exceptional classic and collector cars directly on the frozen Lake St. Moritz for two days dedicated to automotive design, heritage, and performance. The format combines a static Concours d'Elégance on Friday with the dynamic competition on Saturday, when the cars are driven on the ice in front of collectors, enthusiasts and an international audience.

The 2027 edition is developing a wider cultural program across St. Moritz, following the introduction of The I.C.E. Art Show, with art, design, and lifestyle complementing the automotive program.

White Turf celebrates its 120th anniversary in 2027 with three Sundays of international horse racing on frozen Lake St. Moritz. The program includes flat racing, trotting, and the famous skijoring races, where thoroughbreds race across the snow with riders on skis behind them.

Six races are scheduled each Sunday, leading to the 86th Grand Prix of St. Moritz on February 21. The final race day also features the Grand Prix UBS skijoring race, while Aston Martin is among the luxury automotive names associated with the 2027 program.

Explore Tokyo with Connections Luxury will take place from February 14 to 17, 2027, bringing a highly selected international luxury travel community to the Japanese capital for three days of private meetings, experiences, and destination discovery.

Created by Connections Luxury in partnership with the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau, the fifth edition will bring together just 30 leading Tokyo luxury suppliers and 30 handpicked international luxury travel agencies.

The 2027 program features The Peninsula Tokyo, 1 Hotel Tokyo, and The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, a Luxury Collection Hotel, alongside an exclusive event at Akasaka Prince Classic House. A post-event familiarization program, February 17 to 20, will host participating buyers at Palace Hotel Tokyo.

Access is highly curated. The event is intended for senior luxury travel professionals rather than the general public, with international travel designers selected for participation and Tokyo luxury suppliers applying through the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Ballet Icons Gala 2027 is set for February 21 at the London Coliseum, with principal dancers and new-generation talent from The Royal Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, La Scala Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Berlin State Ballet, Vienna State Ballet, Bavarian State Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, and Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo.

Now entering its third decade, the annual gala presents a three-hour program of classical repertoire, contemporary choreography, rarely performed works, and new creations, accompanied live by the English National Ballet Philharmonic Orchestra. The 2027 cast and repertoire will be announced closer to the date.

Following the performance, the program includes a dinner at a landmark London venue within walking distance of the Coliseum.

Paris Fashion Week presents the Fall Winter 2027 2028 womenswear collections from March 1–9. The international fashion industry gathers in Paris for nine days of runway shows, presentations and events.

The official Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode calendar will set the schedule of participating maisons closer to the season. Alongside the shows, Paris hosts showroom appointments, collection presentations, brand dinners, cocktail parties and private events across the city.

Singapore’s theater crowd heads to Shangri-La Singapore on March 6 for Rice Ball 2027: The Greatest Show, WILD RICE’s annual fundraising gala. This year’s theme goes straight to the circus, with guests invited to dress accordingly. Think ringmasters, showgirls, magicians, acrobats, and considerably more commitment than the usual black tie.

Hong Kong Art Week adds Art Central to the calendar from March 24 to 28, 2027, inside its purpose-built pavilion on Central Harbourfront, overlooking Victoria Harbour. The invitation-only Preview is scheduled for March 23, a day ahead of the public program and within walking distance of Art Basel Hong Kong.

The 2027 edition puts the focus on contemporary art from Asia and beyond, from artists with recent institutional recognition at Central Stage to new names presented through Neo. Yi Tai is dedicated to large-scale sculpture and site-specific installations, while solo and duo presentations sit alongside the Hong Kong Artist Commission, video art, performance, and talks. Formula 1 heads to Suzuka Circuit from April 9–11, with a Sprint added to the Japanese Grand Prix weekend for 2027. Friday combines Practice 1 with Sprint Qualifying, Saturday stages the Sprint followed by Grand Prix qualifying, and Sunday's race completes the weekend.

Suzuka's 5.807-kilometer figure-eight circuit is one of Formula 1's most celebrated tracks, known for the S Curves, Spoon Curve and high-speed 130R. Built by Honda in 1962, the circuit has hosted the Japanese Grand Prix since 1987 and remains particularly popular with drivers for its technical, flowing layout

The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters swaps Court Rainier III for the Salle des Étoiles on April 10 for La Grande Nuit du Tennis, the tournament’s annual black-tie gala at Sporting Monte-Carlo.

A fixture on the tournament’s social calendar since 1992, the evening draws players, members of Monaco’s Princely Family, tournament partners, and guests for dinner followed by a live show. More than 1,300 artists have performed at La Grande Nuit du Tennis over the years, with the 2027 entertainment program still to be announced.

Dinner is served with wines and Champagne before the show, while guests attending the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters can pair the evening with selected official tournament hospitality packages.

The Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix is scheduled for April 16–18 at Shanghai International Circuit, placing Shanghai as the fifth round of the 2027 Formula 1 season.

Shanghai International Circuit has hosted Formula 1 since 2004. Its 5.451-kilometer layout is recognized for the tightening opening sequence through Turns 1 and 2, long high-speed sections, and one of the longest straights on the calendar, creating major overtaking opportunities into the Turn 14 hairpin.

Chanel will present its Cruise 2027/28 collection in Deauville, with Matthieu Blazy choosing one of the most important places in the maison’s history for his second Cruise show. Gabrielle Chanel opened her first Deauville boutique in 1912 and began selling her first fashion pieces there the following year, introducing the jersey sportswear, masculine references, and freer way of dressing that would become central to Chanel.

After taking his first Cruise collection to Biarritz in 2026, another formative Chanel destination, Blazy continues tracing the maison back to the places where its codes first took shape. Deauville, with its racing, seaside life, and Belle Époque society, was where Chanel’s early idea of modern elegance began to emerge.

Jonathan Anderson will present the Dior Cruise 2028 collection in Shanghai, marking his first major Dior moment in Asia since taking creative direction of the maison’s womenswear, menswear, and haute couture. The show also brings Dior back to Shanghai, where the maison previously staged a cruise collection in 2010.

Shanghai also holds a place in Dior’s own history: Christian Dior named one of his Spring 1948 haute couture looks “Shanghai.” The city has remained an important destination for the maison through runway presentations, exhibitions, and major brand events.

Art Basel's flagship Swiss fair is scheduled for June 17–20, bringing leading international galleries and collectors to Messe Basel for four days centered on Modern and contemporary art.

The fair spans established gallery presentations alongside Unlimited, its platform for monumental installations and works that exceed the scale of a conventional booth. Art Basel has also introduced Basel Exclusive, developed with galleries as an additional initiative around the flagship show.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from July 15–18 at Goodwood House, placing historic competition cars, modern supercars, new automotive technology and motorsport personalities around the famous Hillclimb.

The event is particularly valuable for seeing cars in motion rather than behind ropes: manufacturers use Goodwood for debuts and demonstrations, while rare racing machinery and contemporary performance cars tackle the 1.16-mile Hillclimb throughout the weekend.

Five days of Flat racing unfold at Goodwood Racecourse for the Qatar Goodwood Festival, traditionally known as Glorious Goodwood and one of the highlights of the British summer racing calendar.

The meeting combines major races with the setting of the Goodwood Estate and a strong social scene across its enclosures, restaurants and hospitality spaces.

The Monterey Peninsula becomes one of the centers of the collector-car world each August, with concours, auctions, manufacturer presentations, private unveilings, driving events, and gatherings spread across Monterey, Carmel, and Pebble Beach.

The official Pebble Beach calendar includes the Pebble Beach Auctions from August 11–14, the Tour d'Elegance presented by Rolex on August 12, the Classic Car Forum from August 12–14, RetroAuto from August 12–15, and the Concours d'Elegance on August 15.

The Tour places more than 150 Concours entrants on the road ahead of Sunday's competition, while the auctions, concept displays, and manufacturer activations make the week as relevant to contemporary collectible cars as to historic automobiles.

The 76th Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance takes place on August 15 on the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links, where exceptional collector cars compete for class honors and the coveted Best of Show award.

Judging considers elegance, technical merit, and history, while the surrounding Concept Lawn introduces anticipated concepts and new-car debuts. The Concours closes Pebble Beach Automotive Week after several days of auctions, driving events, collector forums, and automotive presentations.

Goodwood Revival recreates the golden age of the Goodwood Motor Circuit across three days of historic racing, period fashion, and automotive culture. The entire event draws on the circuit's original 1948–1966 era, with historically significant racing cars and motorcycles competing rather than sitting in static displays.

Dates TBC. The Red Sea International Film Festival returns to Historic Jeddah for its sixth edition, bringing Saudi, Arab, African, Asian, and international cinema together through premieres, competition films, gala screenings, conversations, and industry events. The full 2027 programme will be announced later.

The Dubai International Film Festival returns in December 2027 after a ten-year absence, reviving one of the region’s most prominent cinema events. The 15th edition will spotlight films and filmmakers from across the Middle East while reconnecting Arab cinema with international audiences, industry professionals, producers, and distributors.

First launched in 2004, the festival became known for combining major international premieres with a strong Arab cinema program. Previous editions welcomed names including Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, Shah Rukh Khan, Morgan Freeman, and Omar Sharif, while also supporting filmmakers from the UAE and wider region.
