Hong Kong Art Week adds Art Central to the calendar from March 24 to 28, 2027, inside its purpose-built pavilion on Central Harbourfront, overlooking Victoria Harbour. The invitation-only Preview is scheduled for March 23, a day ahead of the public program and within walking distance of Art Basel Hong Kong.
The 2027 edition puts the focus on contemporary art from Asia and beyond, from artists with recent institutional recognition at Central Stage to new names presented through Neo. Yi Tai is dedicated to large-scale sculpture and site-specific installations, while solo and duo presentations sit alongside the Hong Kong Artist Commission, video art, performance, and talks. The participating galleries, artists, and individual projects are still being announced.
VIP invitations cover the March 23 Preview, Night Central, and admission throughout the fair. The program also includes tailored private tours and arrangements for private groups, while Art Basel VIP guests receive reciprocal privileges at Art Central.
