In summer 2027, Fondation Beyeler will devote a major exhibition to Louise Bourgeois (1911–2010), bringing together around 100 works spanning every period of the artist’s career. The exhibition will include sculptures in wood, plaster, bronze, latex and other materials, alongside pen drawings, watercolours and oil paintings. It will also feature several of Bourgeois’s monumental Cells, the architectural installations that rank among her most important works. A selection of her celebrated spider sculptures will be presented across both museum buildings and throughout the surrounding park
