<p><strong>Business of Design Week</strong> is one of Asia's major platforms connecting design, brands, and business, with a week of conferences, exhibitions, awards, forums, and events across Hong Kong. Organized by Hong Kong Design Centre, the 2026 edition partners with <strong>Switzerland</strong> under the theme <strong><em>Design in Dialogue: Connect + Transform</em></strong>, highlighting Swiss expertise in craftsmanship, architecture, design, and innovation.</p><p>The main <strong>BODW Summit</strong> runs November 18–20 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with more than 50 international creative leaders and business decision-makers. The 2026 program explores six themes: <strong>Reimagining Spaces, Regenerative Culture & Curation, Brand Transformation, The New Luxury & Artisanal Innovation, Designing for Longevity & Vitality,</strong> and <strong>Future-Ready Transmedia & Education</strong>.</p><p>Speakers include <strong>Wim Walschap</strong>, CEO and Senior Partner at Herzog & de Meuron; <strong>Thilo Brunner</strong>, Chief Design Officer of On; <strong>Janine Weiz-Bühler</strong>, CEO of FREITAG; landscape architect <strong>Enzo Enea</strong>; <strong>Morgan Maillard</strong>, Style & Heritage Expert at Vacheron Constantin; <strong>Jaume Domenech</strong> of Vitra; and <strong>Emily Yan</strong>, Director of Snøhetta's Hong Kong studio.</p><p>The November 16–21 calendar extends across Hong Kong through <strong>DesignInspire, the DFA Awards, DESIGN@HKG, deTour 2026, the Business of IP Asia Forum,</strong> and other events. DesignInspire will also present a special <strong>Salone del Mobile.Milano </strong>exhibition, created for Hong Kong, while DESIGN@HKG is planning more than 40 citywide activations spanning installations, design trails, pop-ups, and public spaces.</p>
