<p class="has-drop-cap">An oceanfront evening at <strong>Rosewood Miramar Beach</strong> sets the scene for the <strong>Santa Barbara Museum of Art Gala</strong>, where California's art patrons and philanthropic society gather in support of one of the region's leading cultural institutions.</p><p>Formerly known as the <em>Gilded Gala</em>, the annual benefit enters its third edition with a fresh identity and a more colorful approach to black-tie dressing. The 2027 celebration is chaired by <strong>Lynn Cunningham Brown</strong> and <strong>Briana H. Moncrief</strong>, with event design and production by <strong>Merryl Brown Events</strong>.</p><p>Cocktails, canapés, and lounge music welcome guests to the Chandelier Terrace overlooking the Pacific. The celebration then shifts to the Chandelier Ballroom for a three-course dinner, live music, and an auction supporting the museum's collections, exhibitions, and educational programs.</p><p>Following a previous edition that raised more than $800,000, the gala continues to attract collectors, cultural patrons, and members of Santa Barbara's philanthropic community, combining the coastal setting of Montecito with a commitment to the arts.</p>
