Experience Romance With the Macallan’s “Lev Adom” Cocktail at Boubalé Bar, Blending Whisky With Beet and Pandan
February 5, 2024 – Wine & Spirit, Boubalé Bar at the Grand Mazarin Hotel

This Valentine’s Day, The Macallan invites you to savor a unique and refined cocktail, the “Lev Adom,” at Boubalé Bar nestled within the Grand Mazarin Hotel, in the heart of Paris’s historic Marais district.
Inspired by Ashkenazi culture, the “Lev Adom” (meaning “red heart” in Hebrew) cocktail is a delightful concoction blending The Macallan Double Cask 12-year-old whisky with a shrub made from beet and pandan. The shrub lends a tangy twist reminiscent of Eastern European pickles, while the addition of beet, an emblematic ingredient of the region, enriches the flavor profile. The pandan, with its hints of hazelnut, perfectly complements The Macallan whisky, adding a luscious roundness to the mix. To add a sparkling touch, the cocktail is topped off with sparkling rosé wine, imparting effervescence and notes of red fruits.

Joining forces with Boubalé Bar, The Macallan aims to create an unforgettable tasting experience for Valentine’s Day. The Lev Adom cocktail epitomizes The Macallan’s expertise and creativity in mixology, inviting whisky enthusiasts to explore new flavors and celebrate love in a warm and welcoming setting.
