Luxury & Celebrity Events in Hong Kong 2026

Hong Kong welcomes the inaugural Festival of Connoisseurs, a new premium lifestyle exhibition bringing superyachts, supercars, private aviation, fine jewellery and watches, art and other collector categories together under one event. Organized by Informa Markets, the 2026 edition serves as the festival’s first launch ahead of its full-scale expansion in 2027. AsiaWorld-Expo will host the main program, introducing a format designed to expand across landmark locations throughout Hong Kong in future editions.

Business of Design Week is one of Asia's major platforms connecting design, brands, and business, with a week of conferences, exhibitions, awards, forums, and events across Hong Kong. Organized by Hong Kong Design Centre, the 2026 edition partners with Switzerland under the theme Design in Dialogue: Connect + Transform, highlighting Swiss expertise in craftsmanship, architecture, design, and innovation.

The main BODW Summit runs November 18–20 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with more than 50 international creative leaders and business decision-makers. The 2026 program explores six themes: Reimagining Spaces, Regenerative Culture & Curation, Brand Transformation, The New Luxury & Artisanal Innovation, Designing for Longevity & Vitality, and Future-Ready Transmedia & Education.

Speakers include Wim Walschap, CEO and Senior Partner at Herzog & de Meuron; Thilo Brunner, Chief Design Officer of On; Janine Weiz-Bühler, CEO of FREITAG; landscape architect Enzo Enea; Morgan Maillard, Style & Heritage Expert at Vacheron Constantin; Jaume Domenech of Vitra; and Emily Yan, Director of Snøhetta's Hong Kong studio.

The November 16–21 calendar extends across Hong Kong through DesignInspire, the DFA Awards, DESIGN@HKG, deTour 2026, the Business of IP Asia Forum, and other events. DesignInspire will also present a special Salone del Mobile.Milano exhibition, created for Hong Kong, while DESIGN@HKG is planning more than 40 citywide activations spanning installations, design trails, pop-ups, and public spaces.

Hong Kong Art Week adds Art Central to the calendar from March 24 to 28, 2027, inside its purpose-built pavilion on Central Harbourfront, overlooking Victoria Harbour. The invitation-only Preview is scheduled for March 23, a day ahead of the public program and within walking distance of Art Basel Hong Kong.

The 2027 edition puts the focus on contemporary art from Asia and beyond, from artists with recent institutional recognition at Central Stage to new names presented through Neo. Yi Tai is dedicated to large-scale sculpture and site-specific installations, while solo and duo presentations sit alongside the Hong Kong Artist Commission, video art, performance, and talks. The participating galleries, artists, and individual projects are still being announced.

Art Basel Hong Kong places Asia-Pacific at the center of the international art market, with galleries from the region and around the world presenting Modern and contemporary work at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The fair extends across its established gallery sectors and large-scale artistic projects, complemented by Conversations, films and a public program. Its position within Hong Kong's wider art week also makes late March one of the city's busiest periods for gallery openings, museum events, private dinners, brand activations and collector gatherings.
