<p class="has-drop-cap">Paris welcomes the international design community from January 14–18 for <strong>Maison&Objet Premier 2027</strong>, where exceptional furniture, decorative arts, and contemporary craftsmanship meet the latest ideas in luxury interiors.</p><p>Under the theme <em>Sensory Shift</em>, the January edition explores a more intimate relationship with materials, objects, and the spaces we inhabit. Some 2,300 brands from 49 countries will present their collections, with particular attention to collectible design, bespoke furnishings, and the artisans preserving exceptional savoir-faire.</p><p>British designer <strong>Paul Cocksedge</strong>, named Designer of the Year 2027, will unveil <em>Tension</em>, an installation that uses melting ice to explore movement, time, and the forces shaping our environment.</p><p>Among the highlights, <em>Curatio</em>, under the artistic direction of <strong>Thomas Haarmann</strong>, examines the relationship between functional objects and collectible art. <em>In Materia</em>, conceived by <strong>Elizabeth Leriche</strong>, celebrates the expressive qualities of materials and traditional craftsmanship. The <em>Manufactures d'Excellence</em> showcase will spotlight French heritage workshops recognized for their expertise.</p><p>Beyond the exhibition halls, <strong>Maison&Objet In the City</strong>, January 13–18, invites design professionals to discover 100 exceptional Parisian addresses, from prestigious maisons and independent galleries to interior design studios and master artisans.</p>
