THE RESORT
Surrounded by large gardens with olive trees, lemon trees and flowers, Borgo Egnazia is a picturesque little village in Savelletri di Fasano, in the province of Puglia, Italy. This luxurious location is inspired by the typical Apulian village style – immaculate facades made out of tuff and local stones – but in a more contemporary spirit. Architect and designer Pino Brescia designed the entire complex that celebrates Italian savoir-vivre and welcomes many international celebrities each year, including Madonna or the Beckham family.
Initially, the place was a simple summer residence owned by the Melpignano family, but eventually in 1996, it became what we know today as this extravagant yet simple and traditional resort. It is composed of 3 separate but interconnected areas called La Corte, Il Borgo and Le Ville, where guests can enjoy rooms, apartments or villas, as well as 4 swimming pools and a 1,800 square meter SPA. What makes this place truly special is the variety of possibilities it features: a lush golf course, two private beaches and restaurants offering Mediterranean cuisine to delight your taste buds in front of the sea, or under the traditional white stone vaulted ceilings, as well as a series of sport, health, gastronomical or family adventures.
