The lawns of Hampton Court Palace fill with legend again this September. Concours of Elegance 2026 brings eighty of the rarest cars in the world to the former home of Henry VIII. Many are making their first appearance on UK soil, for three days across September 4 to 6. Presented by A. Lange & Söhne, the Show has moved through some of Britain's grandest addresses since its 2012 debut at Windsor Castle, passing through St James's Palace, Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, and back to Hampton Court Palace, where it has anchored since 2017.
The Winner Chosen by Peers
No other concours hands the trophy to the cars themselves. Best of Show at Concours of Elegance 2026 goes to a vote among the entrants' own owners. Each one casts a ballot for the car they'd want parked beside their own.
Among this year's confirmed entries, a 1952 Aston Martin DB2 Drophead Coupé, bodied by Swiss coachbuilder Carrosserie Graber, takes its place on the Fountain Gardens lawn, a rare pairing of Aston Martin's racing chassis with Graber's restrained European coachwork.
The Club Trophy
Beyond the main concours, hundreds of classic and performance cars fill the grounds through the Club Trophy, now in its twelfth year. Seven of Britain's most distinguished car clubs bring their finest examples. Judged by an independent panel, with the winning car earning a place in next year's main Concours alongside the world's rarest machines.
This year's clubs span the full range of British motoring history, from pre-war sporting marques to the complete sweep of Alfa Romeo's catalogue.
