DIOR X WASP: AN INNOVATIVE NEW CONCEPT STORE IN COLLABORATION WITH THE 3D PRINTING COMPANY WASP. MADE OUT OF NATURAL MATERIALS FEATURING SUSTAINABLE INSTALLATIONS OF THE DUBAI EXPO 2020.
Dior has unveiled its latest concept store situated in Dubai. Stands on Jumeirah Beach, the new Dior X WASP concept store is composed of two circular modules. These innovative spaces were made from natural materials – combining clay, sand and organic fibers – using an exceptional 3D printing system designed by WASP*. A technical feat that pushes the limits of the Italian company’s know-how, which, like a digital tailor, has designed, for the first time, an inhabitable structure in proportions never before imagined.
In a fascinating architectural game, the cane motif, a key code of the House, is revealed on the walls of this ephemeral boutique. Inside, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s creations are revealed in acidic shades, while Maison Dior’s essentials adorned with toile de Jouy are also highlighted. An audacious and singular setting, a promise of a dreamy interlude.
Inside the store, you will find Iconic bags, such as the Dior Book Tote and the Dior Caro, mingle with the latest additions to the Dior 2022 cruise collection such as the Lady Dior in the horizontal East-West format and the Lady Dior Wicker baskets.
Also on display are Dior Maison essentials including deckchairs, parasols, cushions and bottles adorned with toile de Jouy. The emblematic design also features on the lounge chairs facing this audacious showcase that carries the promise of a dreamy interlude.
