DISCOVER THE LATEST IN KOREAN FASHION INNOVATION AT ONE OF MILAN’S PREMIER RETAIL DESTINATIONS

The Korean fashion label Juun.J is making waves in Milan with its new pop-up store at Rinascente, launching on September 17, 2024, the first day of Milan Fashion Week. This temporary boutique, which will be open for three weeks, marks a significant milestone in Juun.J’s European expansion.

Founded in 2007 by Wook-Jun Jung, who continues as its creative force, Juun.J has been making strides in the fashion world since its acquisition by the Samsung C&T group in 2011. The Milan pop-up follows successful openings in Beijing, Chengdu, and London, and showcases the brand’s distinctive style.

The pop-up introduces Milanese shoppers to Juun.J’s latest collection, featuring signature pieces such as plaid shirts, reversible jackets, and convertible nylon trousers. The store embodies the new “New Black” concept, first unveiled in Shanghai. This innovative design approach combines the brand’s iconic black color with sleek, shiny materials, creating a sophisticated environment that reflects Juun.J’s youthful and dynamic spirit.

Mooyoung Lee, vice president and head of Samsung C&T’s men’s and contemporary division, highlights the strategic importance of this expansion: “Our success in China, a key player in the global fashion market, has set the stage for our growth in Europe and North America. We aim to establish Juun.J as a prominent global fashion house.”

In addition to this pop-up, Juun.J has recently expanded its retail presence in China, opening its first single-brand store at the Reel department store in Shanghai on August 30, 2024. The brand is also featured in high-end multi-brand retailers such as IT, Joyce, Lane Crawford, and Galeries Lafayette BJ, among others.
