The Academy gathers Hollywood for its annual Governors Awards, where some of cinema's most influential figures receive honorary Oscars away from the televised Academy Awards ceremony. Glenn Close, Ridley Scott and Floyd Norman lead the 2026 honorees, with Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler receiving the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award. Jennifer Todd produces this year's gala, presented in partnership with Rolex.
