Azzedine Alaïa et l'Afrique

Azzedine Alaïa et l'Afrique traces the designer's lifelong relationship with the continent he left as a young man but continued to reference throughout his work. Curated by Olivier Saillard, the Exhibition brings Alaïa's creations into conversation with African forms, materials and memories, from the moucharabiehs of his childhood in Tunis to pieces from his haute couture collections. A second exhibition, Peter Beard et Azzedine Alaïa: Un voyage d'amitié, runs alongside it at the Fondation.
