The Snatch Just Landed at Givenchy and Yes, It's Already That Bag
February 1, 2026
Sarah Burton's First Accessory for Givenchy Wraps Around Your Body Like It Knows You Personally.
Sarah Burton wants you to feel something. The Snatch, her debut bag for Givenchy, cinches, curves, and clings like your best lingerie decided to become arm candy. The designer launched it Thursday as part of her SS26 collection, and honestly? It's already rewriting the rules on what a luxury bag should do to your silhouette.
This isn't another boxy shoulder bag collecting dust in your closet. The Snatch molds itself to your waist, your hip, your hand. Supple calf grain leather tumbles naturally across the surface. Angular zippers bite into organic metal chains. Chrome feet anchor the whole thing so it stands proud on your bathroom counter while you touch up your red lip. Intimate by design, Burton calls it. We call it genius.

Body Language, Translated
Burton studied the architecture of getting dressed. The way a corset cinches. How a blazer nips at the waist. The curve a bra strap makes against skin. She took those moments and carved them into leather.
Flip it open and you'll find contrasting nappa lining, the bag's construction turns inside out on purpose. Unzip further and a color pop lunetta detail flashes like a secret. Gold or silver hardware finishes the look, depending on whether you're feeling warm or cool today.
Three sizes mean you can wear it how you actually live. Hand carry it into your pitch meeting. Crossbody it to dinner. Shoulder sling it through your commute. The bag adapts, period.

Seven Shades of Power
British photographer David Sims shot the campaign. Camilla Nickerson styled it with that razor sharp eye. Ferdinando Verderi directed the whole vision. The frame positions The Snatch where it belongs: pressed against skin, moving through space, totally alive.
Burton took over Givenchy as Creative Director last September. Now she's giving the Maison its next iconic silhouette. Bags drive luxury brands, high margins, cult status, forever appeal. The Snatch just entered the conversation carrying Burton's philosophy on its (very chic) back.
