The carbon fiber dial, borrowed from the language of racing cockpits, carries a ribbed texture that catches the light differently at every angle. Indexes and hands are treated with reinforced Super-LumiNova for optimal legibility in low light, a shared requirement of racing drivers and trackside timekeepers alike.
The strap in textured leather evokes competition harnesses. The colorway, Aston Martin Racing Green with lime green accents, directly references the Aston Martin Aramco livery. And through the sapphire caseback, the Manufacture Breitling Calibre 01 reveals itself: a COSC-certified movement with column wheel and vertical clutch, wound by a tungsten rotor with matte black PVD coating bearing the Aston Martin Formula One Team logo. Two engravings on the caseback complete the picture: "One of 1959" and "Instruments for Drivers."
