“From the Heart to the Hands” Exhibition Unveils the Craft Behind Dolce & Gabbana’s Iconic Couture at Palazzo Esposizioni Roma
May 8, 2025. Fashion Art Exhibition, Dolce & Gabbana’s “From the Heart to the Hands” Exhibition, Rome

After captivating Milan and Paris, Dal Cuore Alle Mani: Dolce & Gabbana lands in Rome, opening May 14 at Palazzo delle Esposizioni. This celebration of Italian craftsmanship, told through fashion, art, and the soul of Dolce & Gabbana. Running through August 13, the exhibition invites you to step inside the heart of couture, where embroidery, ceramics, mosaics, and glass artistry transform into wearable masterpieces.
Spanning over 1,500 square meters, the show unfolds across immersive rooms that narrate the world of Dolce & Gabbana: sensual yet irreverent, elegant yet bold. Each theme draws from Italy’s deep well of culture—art, architecture, folklore, opera, ballet, and the cinematic magic of La Dolce Vita. Here, every piece is more than a garment; it’s a tribute to the hands that shaped it. Over 200 unique couture creations are on display, curated by Florence Müller with scenography by Agence Galuchat.

Dolce & Gabbana’s Roman Summer
Dolce & Gabbana’s Roman Summer doesn’t stop within museum walls. This summer, Dolce & Gabbana’s iconic Grand Tour arrives in Rome from July 12 to 16, transforming the Eternal City into a living stage of fashion and history.
On July 12, the spotlight turns to Via Veneto, evoking Fellini’s Rome with a photography exhibition of never-before-seen paparazzi images from the 1950s and 60s. The street becomes both canvas and catwalk, merging nostalgia with modern glamour.
On July 13, the journey moves to Villa Adriana in Tivoli, where the High Jewelry collection takes inspiration from Emperor Hadrian’s era. In the hushed elegance of the Maritime Theatre, jewelry becomes a conversation between ancient splendor and contemporary design.
On July 14, the Alta Moda collection takes over the ruins of the Roman Forum, fashion rising among stone and sky—a meeting of past and present in the city’s historic heart.
On July 15, the Alta Sartoria show unfolds on the bridge of Castel Sant’Angelo, the Tiber flowing beneath a runway of timeless tailoring.
And on July 16, a grand finale at a secret location will close the Roman chapter of the Grand Tour, promising one last breathtaking encounter.

Throughout the week, Via Veneto will remain open to the public, welcoming visitors to experience couture woven into the city’s daily rhythm. It’s a rare moment when fashion steps outside its inner circle, inviting the world to witness its artistry up close.
