The show opens with a transparent tunic, adorned with Art Deco motifs, signaling a reverence for Fendi‘s origins in the roaring twenties. This collection is a nod to the brand’s inception in 1925, the same year as the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris, which marked the rise of Art Deco. Jones delves into this era, evoking its modernism in both form and thought. The silhouettes embrace the dropped waists, crystal detailing, and hemline fringing synonymous with the 1920s, gradually evolving into the cinched-waist pencil skirts and pressed-collar shirt dresses of the 1940s.

Fendi Spring/Summer 2025 collection radiates a boudoir spirit with its powdery, skin-colored tones and fluid movements. Kim Jones juxtaposes delicate pieces with more structured garments.
