For Spring/Summer 2026, Italian luxury maison Santoni engages in a profound dialogue with the arts, presenting “Forms and Matter,” a collaborative project with Venetian artist Lorenzo Vitturi. This project explores the philosophical aspects of craftsmanship, where the Maison’s legendary leatherwork intimately converses with Vitturi’s contemporary visual language. The Adriatic Sea, a shared muse for Santoni’s Le Marche heritage and Vitturi’s Venetian environment, provides the chromatic and textural foundation, inspiring a palette of mutable blues and sun-drenched reflections.
This conceptual framework was brought to life at Milan’s Galleria Meravigli, where Vitturi unveiled fifteen images and four sculptures commissioned by the Maison. In these works, Santoni’s signature materials, dyed Origine leather, sole leather, and Seta calfskin, are stitched and molded alongside blown Murano glass and Venetian beads, staging a compelling dialogue between distant crafts.
This artistic exchange is the very engine of the Santoni X Lorenzo Vitturi SS26 collection, championing a luxury defined not by the finished product alone, but by the creative process itself.
