Established in Charente since 1270, the Frapin family is one of the oldest families of winegrowers in France. 21 generations of winegrowers and then distillers have followed one another to maintain the tradition of the most renowned of Eaux-de-vie. Owner of an exceptional 240-hectare vineyard in the heart of Grande Champagne, premier cru cognac, Maison Frapin has a rich history and ancestral know-how. Immerse yourself in the heart of the history of the Frapin family and discover unique know-how through two tour circuits.
To enhance your experience, an interactive and modern museum in which you can explore the history of the House has been created. Among other things, you can admire the famous Panhard & Levassor, a car acquired by Henri Frapin in 1895, of which only two models remain in the world today.
VIP CIRCUIT:
During this visit, you will explore the vineyard and the Frapin distillery where you immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the centuries-old aging cellars. Halfway through, nestled in the heart of the vineyard, a stop at Château Fontpinot will take place to discover the house and the ancestors of the family, including the famous François Rabelais, followed by a cocktail break. You will also find the treasures contained in the paradise cellar.
