For Max Mara SS27, Far Horizon, Ian Griffiths looked to the fearless, cosmopolitan women of the 1930s, including explorers Freya Stark and Osa Johnson, aviators Amelia Earhart and Beryl Markham, and racing driver Eva Dickson. Their nonconformist glamour translates into a modern wardrobe with a sharper sense of adventure. The show took place at Via Piranesi 14 in Milan, with Leighton Meester, Kelly Rutherford, Kate Mara, and Louise Bourgoin among the front-row guests.
