Monte-Carlo Summer Festival 2026: Six Weeks of Extraordinary Nights in Monaco

June 13, 2026 Monte-Carlo Summer Festival 2026: John Legend, Vanessa Paradis and Six Weeks of Extraordinary Nights in Monaco

Your Essential Calendar to the Riviera's Most Spectacular Concert Season

Every summer, Monaco transforms into one of these extraordinary live music destinations. For six weeks, the Principality trades its Formula One circuits and casino terraces for something more intimate and more electric: world-class artists performing under the stars at the edge of the Mediterranean. The Monte-Carlo Summer Festival 2026 runs from July 3 to August 15, with more than half the performers take the Monaco stage for the first time. The line-up spans soul, pop, French chanson, Latin rock, and R&B in a way that no other summer festival on the Riviera attempts. Here is everything you need to know:

The Venues

The Festival operates across two of the most iconic performance spaces in Europe

La Salle des Étoiles at Sporting Monte-Carlo on Avenue Princesse Grace anchors the Festival's main programme. Spread across 1,000 m² on the Larvotto peninsula with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto panoramic sea views, it seats 800 for the dinner shows. Its retractable roof opens onto the night sky, meaning the biggest stars in music perform literally under the stars. Since 1974, Frank Sinatra, Céline Dion, Tina Turner, Rihanna, and John Legend have all taken this stage. The format: a seated gala dinner followed by a live performance, makes every evening an event rather than simply a concert.

The Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo brings a quieter, more confidential experience. Its Belle Époque interiors and exceptional heritage setting extend the Festival into a spectacle. Artists who perform here do so in an atmosphere of genuine intimacy, and the contrast with the Salle des Étoiles makes it one of the most compelling parts of the Festival programme.

The Programme

Alfonso Ciulla, Artistic Director of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, curated a programme that leans heavily on global star power while consistently introducing first-time performers to the Monaco stage. The 2026 edition delivers both in full.

A surreal and hypnotic opening to the season. Tellier presents his seventh album in an immersive show that blends reality and imagination through his distinctly personal universe.

Eight Grammy Awards and an Oscar. Batiste brings his genre-defying blend of jazz, soul, pop, and R&B to Monaco for one of the most musically ambitious dinner shows of the season.

High-energy pop and chart-topping hits. The most dance-driven evening of the festival and the sharpest contrast with the Batiste night before it.

The British all-female rock band presents their second album From the Pyre in their Monaco debut. One of the most talked-about acts in contemporary music, in a room of 800 people.

Named Best Latin Rock/Pop Artist of the 21st Century by Billboard, Juanes brings his 2026 world tour to Monaco. His stop at the Salle des Étoiles sits among the most coveted dates on the tour calendar.

An Evening with John Legend: A Night of Songs and Stories — an intimate performance blending music and personal storytelling. The most personal evening of the season.

Paradis returns to the Opéra Garnier for an intimate French chanson evening in the Belle Époque setting that suits her perfectly.

Known for her powerful voice and distinctive sound, LP opens the August programme with one of the festival's most anticipated performances.

A Salle des Étoiles legend returns. Lisa Stansfield brings her soul and R&B catalogue to Monaco for an evening that rewards every loyal fan in the room.

Laura Pausini closes the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival 2026 on the night of the season's final performance. One of the most powerful voices in contemporary pop, a loyal Monaco audience, and the Mediterranean as backdrop.

Exclusive and VIP Moments

The Monte-Carlo Summer Festival generates two moments during the season that operate on an entirely different level from the public programme. These are the ones your concierge secures:

Fight AIDS Monaco Charity Evening

📅 Friday July 11 📍 Salle des Étoiles, Sporting Monte-Carlo ✉️ concierge@babble-up.com

The Festival's annual charity evening returns on July 11 in support of Fight AIDS Monaco, featuring God Save the Queen, a tribute to Queen led by Pablo Padín. Monaco Red Cross Gala — Premiere of SOUL!

📅 Saturday July 18 📍 Salle des Étoiles, Sporting Monte-Carlo ✉️ concierge@babble-up.com

The most exclusive evening of the Festival calendar. The Monaco Red Cross Gala hosts the world premiere of SOUL! HRH Prince Albert II and members of the Grimaldi family attend. The premiere precedes ten additional public performances running from July 29 to August 9, but the gala night is the one that circulates through the international social calendar long after the season ends.
