Private Interiors, New Showrooms and Monumental Installations Across Paris
Paris Design Week 2026 returns from September 10 to 19, moving through four Paris districts and nine different design routes. Design sur Cours takes installations inside historic monuments and courtyards. Parcours AD opens the showrooms of prominent interior designers and decorators. Nouvelles Adresses marks the galleries and showrooms opening across the city, while the new Appartements route moves design into private residential interiors.
This year, Hôtel de la Marine, Grand Palais, Arc de Triomphe and Hôtel de Sully lead the monumental route. Elsewhere, RH Paris introduces RH Estates in France, Studio Andrée Putman opens a new gallery, Crosby Studios inaugurates its Paris gallery and Pierre Frey opens its first showroom dedicated entirely to furniture.
Beyond the individual exhibitions, some of the best stops sit close enough to follow as a route, particularly around Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Luxembourg Gardens and rue du Mail. Here is what to see and where to go during Paris Design Week 2026.
Best Exhibitions & Installations
Hôtel de la Marine: Hanjimania & L'Astre Mobile

Hôtel de la Marine hosts two exhibitions for Paris Design Week's Design sur Cour program. Inside the 18th-century apartments of the Intendant of the Garde-Meuble and the state rooms, Hanjimania creates a Franco-Korean dialogue around hanji, Korea's traditional paper.
Curators Catherine Lurault and An KangEun bring together French and Korean designers, artists and master craftspeople. Pierre Yovanovitch, Studio KO, Constance Guisset, Aline Asmar d'Amman, Harry Nuriev and Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau are among the French names working with the material.
Meanwhile, the Cour de l'Intendant hosts L'Astre Mobile by Maison Lacmé. The art car is crafted from glass, gold, porcelain, wood and feathers, with movement, time, play and the stars running through the project.
Grand Palais: Uchronia's Le Grand Bouquet

Inside the Grand Palais, Le Grand Bouquet turns the floral details of the Rotonde d’Antin into a monumental installation by Uchronia. Founder Julien Sebban takes the flowers already worked into the floor mosaic and surrounding moldings, then enlarges them into an oversized composition rising through the historic rotunda.
The project also draws on the savoir-faire of Maisons from le19M, with support from CHANEL, Grand Palais’s major patron. Outside, Équilibres Éphémères continues the installation before visitors enter the rotunda.
The Design & Métiers d’Art boutique carries pieces from the Grand Bouquet universe during the week, from Uchronia’s Candy lamps and Bisou stools to ceramics, flower cushions and furniture collaborations.
A vernissage opens the project on September 11, followed by an invitation-only cocktail that evening.
Arc de Triomphe: La Tempête

The Arc de Triomphe gives designer Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau carte blanche for La Tempête, a monumental installation created for Paris Design Week 2026. The exhibition unfolds through the monument, from its interior spaces to the rooftop terrace.
Abstract sculptures meet glass, ceramics and textiles, with sound and scent extending the installation through the different levels of the Arc de Triomphe. The route culminates on the terrace overlooking Paris.
Pradier-Jeauneau returns to Paris Design Week after Labyrinthe at Hôtel de la Marine in 2025, this time with an entire national monument as his setting.
Hôtel de Sully: Joseph Walsh's Arcanum Formae

Joseph Walsh brings his monumental outdoor sculptures to Europe for the first time with Arcanum Formae, opening at Hôtel de Sully during Paris Design Week. The Irish designer and furniture maker created the installation specifically for the 17th-century hôtel particulier, with works extending from the Orangerie into its gardens.
Walsh is known for sculpting wood into sweeping, fluid forms that push furniture toward sculpture. Here, the scale moves outdoors, placing his new works against the architecture and gardens of one of the Marais's historic residences.
Lafayette Anticipations × AlUla: Life of Forms

Lafayette Anticipations opens Paris Design Week with "Life of Forms", the first event in AlUla's Cultural Season in Paris. The "Life of Forms" exhibition places works created through AlUla's design residency programs alongside pieces from the Lafayette Anticipations Collection.
Furniture, sculptures, installations, videos and hybrid objects fill the Fondation, with materials playing a central role. Some designers work with natural and recycled materials, while others return to traditional craftsmanship and local forms. Among the works are ALTIN Studio's Palm Chronicles and Studio ThusThat's Harrat, both developed through AlUla's design residency program.
The program continues beyond the exhibition. Talks on September 8 bring the designers and curators together, followed by an AlUla Design conversation on September 10 and a Villa Hegra talk on September 12.
New Openings & Showrooms
RH Paris: RH Estates French Debut

For the first time in France, RH Paris presents RH Estates, a new collection drawn from the work of some of America's most influential designers and ateliers. The Paris selection includes pieces by Michael Taylor, Formations, Dmitriy & Co and Dennis & Leen. Rather than reproducing a single period, RH Estates revisits their furniture through RH's contemporary collections, from Michael Taylor's sculptural forms to the hand-carved craftsmanship of Dennis & Leen.
Studio Andrée Putman

One of French design's most recognizable names gets a new Paris address this September. Studio Andrée Putman opens a gallery inside a former school tucked behind a garden in the 7th arrondissement.
The new space brings together archival reissues and contemporary pieces from the Studio. Among them are Putman's Éléphant bench, Constellation au Carré rug and Quatre Feuilles table.
The address also gives Paris Design Week a direct line back to Andrée Putman, the French designer behind interiors ranging from the Morgans Hotel in New York to boutiques for Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent and Azzedine Alaïa. The Studio continues today under her daughter Olivia Putman.
Pierre Frey

Pierre Frey dedicates an entire new 500-square-meter Paris space to furniture at 14 Rue du Mail. Architect Sandrine Sarah Faivre designed the showroom for the French Maison's seating, tables, and occasional pieces.
The furniture collections extend the textile house's decorative vocabulary into complete interiors, combining pieces developed by the Pierre Frey Furniture Studio with collaborations from guest designers.
The address joins Pierre Frey's historic presence around Rue du Mail and gives the Maison a permanent furniture showroom.
Crosby Studios: New Paris Gallery

Crosby Studios opens its first Paris gallery at 8 Rue des Beaux-Arts during Paris Design Week. The new Saint-Germain-des-Prés address introduces founder Harry Nuriev's Transformism to a permanent space, where existing objects and materials become the starting point for new furniture and design pieces.
The opening comes in the same year Maison&Objet named Nuriev its 2026 Designer of the Year. Crosby Studios also joins two Paris Design Week routes this September: Parcours AD, dedicated to interior designers and decorators, and Nouvelles Adresses, which maps the city's new design openings.
Giorgetti: 2026 Collection

Cassina: 50 Years of iMaestri

Cassina marks the 50th anniversary of its iMaestri collection during Paris Design Week. The Saint-Germain showroom pairs new 2026 designs with Cassina icons and previews Echoes, a book created for the anniversary. The collection has spent five decades returning furniture by major 20th-century architects and designers to production, making the anniversary more than another seasonal showroom presentation.
Saint Laurent: Martine Bedin's 1980–2023–2025

Saint Laurent adds another design address to its itinerary with 1980–2023–2025, an exhibition dedicated to French designer Martine Bedin at its Avenue Montaigne flagship.
Bedin co-founded the Memphis Group in Milan in 1981 alongside Ettore Sottsass and the designers who turned geometric forms, vivid color, and unconventional materials into one of the defining design movements of the 1980s.
The Exhibition opened in July and continues through October 14. Unlike the other stops above, it forms part of Saint Laurent's own exhibition program rather than the official Paris Design Week program.
