SINCE JUNE 2, 2022, PRADA HAS BEEN UNVEILING A NEW TIMECAPSULE COLLECTION DROP EACH MONTH, ALONG WITH A GIFTED NFT
Prada announced the launch of a new “Timecapsule NFT” Collection for the holiday season. Prada has chosen December 1 to launch its new unisex holiday sweater with a complimentary NFT.
Each NFT will contain the serial number of the collection and the serial number of the accompanying physical item, creating a link between the physical and virtual products.
This traditional holiday-themed sweater is crafted from merino wool and adorned with red and white patterns, with black stripes at the waist and cuffs. It was created using a Norwegian jacquard knitting technique and is signed with the Prada logo and embroidered with “December” lettering.
This is the seventh edition of the “Timecapsule NFT” Collection, which is unveiled on the first Thursday of every month. The products in the Timecapsule collection remain available for 24 hours and are only offered in a limited edition of fifty items.
Owners of NFTs unlock access to exclusive events and experiences. Previous Prada “Timecapsules” buyers were able to participate in the eighth edition of Prada Mode, a traveling social club offering an artistic experience for its members.
