Pucci to Unveil Marmo Collection in Portofino on April 4

January 8, 2025- Fashion Weeks, Pucci

Pucci is heading to Portofino this spring to unveil its Spring/Summer 2026 Marmo collection. Scheduled for April 4, 2025, the show will take place in the picturesque Italian Riviera town, a destination long associated with Mediterranean dolce vita and jet-set sophistication. Central to the collection is the Marmo print—an iconic Pucci design inspired by marble’s vibrant veins, first introduced by founder Emilio Pucci in 1968 and revived by Camille Miceli, the brand’s creative director since 2021. Portofino choice continues Pucci’s strategy of hosting destination-based runway shows in iconic Italian locations while celebrating the brand’s heritage.

Portofino’s colorful harbor, crystalline waters, and storied reputation for luxury living make it a fitting stage for the Marmo collection. Following shows in Florence in 2023 and Rome in 2024, this presentation reinforces Pucci’s dedication to connecting its collections with Italy’s cultural richness.

A Collection Rooted in Heritage

The Marmo print, known for its psychedelic waves and vibrant colors, anchors the Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Revived by Camille Miceli, it has become a symbol of Pucci’s modern evolution while honoring its storied past. Inspired by the veined beauty of marble, the print’s dynamic energy is reflected across flowing dresses, lightweight kaftans, and tailored separates designed for resort living. Bright yellows, deep blues, and coral pinks dominate the palette, evoking the Mediterranean’s vibrant hues.

Silk scarves, oversized sunglasses, and structured beach bags featuring the Marmo motif add flair to the collection. Footwear includes platform sandals and flat leather slides, perfect for strolling through Portofino’s cobbled streets or lounging by the sea. The collection embodies the elegance and ease that define Pucci’s resort aesthetic.

See It, Buy It: Pucci’s Game-Changing Approach

Pucci’s presentation in Portofino follows the brand’s see-now, buy-now model, offering pieces for immediate purchase post-show. This strategy aligns with modern consumer expectations, emphasizing accessibility without compromising exclusivity. With multiple drops throughout the season, the collection ensures a constant connection to the brand’s audience while maintaining excitement around each release.

This format reflects Pucci’s agility in responding to shifting industry trends while staying true to its roots. From destination shows to carefully curated collections, the brand continues to balance heritage with innovation, securing its position as a leader in luxury resort fashion.

Italy in the Spotlight in 2025

Italy cements its reputation as the ultimate fashion destination in 2025 with an extraordinary lineup of shows spanning iconic cities and scenic locales. The year begins with Fendi in Florence on January 17, celebrating the city’s artistic legacy. Pucci follows suit, unveiling its vibrant Marmo collection in Portofino on April 4, capturing Mediterranean allure. Later in April, Chanel takes to Lake Como on April 29 for its Cruise 2026 collection, combining elegance with breathtaking scenery. May brings two more highlights: Gucci returns to Florence on May 15, showcasing its Cruise 2026 collection rooted in Italian heritage, while Dior heads to Rome on May 27 to debut its Cruise collection against the Eternal City’s timeless backdrop. Max Mara graces Naples on June 16 and 17 with its Resort Collection, blending refinement with the city’s historic charm. In July, Dolce & Gabbana presents a couture masterpiece in Rome, reaffirming Italy’s unmatched fusion of fashion and culture.
