A FESTIVE SELECTION OF CHAMPAGNES FROM THE TRIBAUT SCHLOESSER HOUSE: A FAMILY ESTATE SINCE 1929, LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE OF ROMERY IN THE HEART OF THE MARNE VALLEY.

This family estate, is nestled in the village of Romery, in the heart of the small Brunet Valley, which is located in the heart of the Marne Valley and backed by the Montagne de Reims. A land of winegrowers, where the history of Tribaut-Schloesser champagne has never ceased since its creation in 1929. Throughout the generations, they have produced wines with a distinctive style, an expression of their terroir with a long maturation on lees, in tuns and in barrels for a large part. In recent years, the house’s wines, with their sometimes daring blends, have gained an international reputation, winning awards and being sold in more than 35 countries on 5 continents.

Convinced that winegrowers have a great future in Champagne, Sébastien and Valentin, the fourth generation of the Tribaut-Schloesser family, have launched a new stage in the evolution of the estate. The conversion to organic is the culmination of a cycle started five years ago, with a constant concern for the preservation of the environment, concretized by obtaining the HVE and VDC labels in 2019. The conversion will become certified for the 2023 vintage and will lead to a dedicated 100% organic range, designed to express all the original character of the Tribaut-Schloesser champagne terroirs. Sébastien and Valentin have named it “Vallée du Brunet“, where it all began nearly a century ago and where history will continue to be written for a long time to come.

This selection presents the know-how of the house through 4 distinct vintages: Brut Champagne, Vintage Champagne, Extra-brut Champagne and Extra-brut Blanc de Noirs.

THE “8 TERROIRS” VINTAGES: They represent the 8 villages from which the grapes for their elaboration come. Four of them come from the Brunet valley, and the other four have been identified for a long time for their complementarities, such as Écueil on the Montagne de Reims or Verneuil in the Marne Valley.

.EXTRA-BRUT CHAMPAGNE: This cuvée of reference within the house is assembled with 20% of old vines of Chardonnays raised in casks. Its silky texture of great finesse persists and reveals a great minerality, followed by aromas of toast and honey. The finish is expressed on buttered and brioche notes.

BLANC DE NOIRS, BRUT NATURE: The blend of this champagne, partly matured in oak barrels and foudres, reveals powerful notes with a perfect elegance to open the palate. The tenderness of the attack lets savors a fine and light bubble. This refreshing wine, very well balanced and chiseled, reveals beautiful aromas of citrus fruits and pretty notes of candied fruits.

VINTAGE CHAMPAGNE: Mature, patiently vinified and aged in casks, this exceptional vintage with a brilliant golden color expresses a complex and well-structured wine, releasing long notes of hazelnut, vanilla and almond. A gastronomic Champagne, refinement to perfection.
