Yohan Serfaty Foundation to Host Archive Sale in Support of ANDAM
August 18, 2025
From Legacy to Action: A New Chapter for French Avant-Garde Fashion
The sudden closure of Y/Project earlier this year left a void in Paris fashion. Now, the legacy of its late Co-Founder Yohan Serfaty is set to take a new form. His sister, Nathalie Serfaty, together with brand strategist Dan Silva, has launched the Yohan Serfaty Foundation. This fall, the Foundation will stage an archive sale, with proceeds donated to ANDAM (Association nationale pour le développement des arts de la mode).
Two Sales, Two Formats
The project unfolds in two stages.
September 1 – 26, 2025: A first selection of archival pieces will appear on the foundation’s Instagram account. Bidders can join via private messages, with winners receiving direct payment links.
October 4 – 6, 2025: During Paris Fashion Week, the sale continues at VSP, 19 rue Debelleyme, Paris IIIe. The boutique, once home to Serfaty’s early experiments in leather, now becomes the stage for his return.

Rare and Intimate Pieces
The sale covers around 300 archive garments, most drawn from Serfaty’s eponymous label, alongside prototypes from his first collections at Y/Project. Sizes range XS to M. The selection reflects his distinctive codes:
Elongated coats
Architectural jackets
Rare leathers — horse, deer, kangaroo
Web-like knits
Stark monochrome silhouettes
Prices span €50 to €2,000, making access possible for both collectors and younger fans.

Memory as Momentum
“This is continuity,” explains Nathalie Serfaty. “It is a way of turning heritage into a springboard, of making memory a lever for action. Together, the foundation and ANDAM give the next generation the tools to build free, committed, and audacious visions.”
The Foundation expects to raise around €20,000, funding a yet-to-be-announced project that will support emerging designers for ANDAM 2026.
