Alessandro Sartori, Zegna's Creative Director, Heads to Hollywood for a Show Celebrating Fashion in Cinema
Zegna is heading to Hollywood. On June 5, Creative Director Alessandro Sartori will present the Maison's Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection in Los Angeles, marking the Maison's second show outside Milan after Dubai. And this time, the Maison is chasing the birthplace of cinema.
Why Zegna Chose Los Angeles Over Milan
The decision was made in agreement with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and the reasoning is worth reading twice. As the Maison put it, Los Angeles was chosen cultural capital, a city where creativity has developed through cinema, storytelling and image-building. From Hollywood's cinematic heritage to its enduring influence on the global visual language, Los Angeles represents a place where narratives take shape. And for a Maison built on the idea that clothing tells a story, the fit could not be more deliberate.
The show will be accompanied by the launch of Villa Zegna, an invitation-only club opening for a few days in Hollywood, welcoming clients, brand friends and international press. It is not the first time Zegna has taken this format on the road. Previous editions of Villa Zegna have been held in Shanghai, New York, Dubai, Miami and Milan. The Villa Zegna an extension of the Maison's world beyond the runway. The Los Angeles edition promises to be the most cinematic yet.
