Armani Stages First Museum Exhibition at Brera
On 24 September, the Pinacoteca di Brera opens its doors to Armani/Casa Brera, the first museum exhibition dedicated to the Maison. For the occasion, 150 archival looks will be displayed in dialogue with masterpieces from the Brera’s permanent collection, an unprecedented encounter between fashion and fine art that reflects Armani’s lifelong study of proportion, form, and beauty. This retrospective stands as a cultural milestone: the moment when Milan’s most revered artistic institution acknowledges fashion as part of its canon, with Armani at its center.
The Courtyard of Honour Hosts Armani’s Runway
Four days later, on 28 September, the anniversary moves outdoors to the Courtyard of Honour at Palazzo Brera. This is where Giorgio Armani will close Milan Fashion Week with his SS26 womenswear show. The runway will also feature select menswear looks introduced in June, weaving together the Maison’s vision across genders and seasons. In the heart of one of Milan’s most symbolic landmarks, the finale becomes an affirmation of heritage and a declaration of continuity, bringing fifty years of style into dialogue with the future.
Armani Launches Digital Archive at Venice Film Festival
The anniversary unfolds alongside the launch of Armani/Archivio, which begins on 30 August during the Venice Film Festival. Conceived as both a living archive and a cultural resource, the platform is curated with Armani’s signature precision. It will present five decades of fashion history, including runway collections, advertising campaigns, red-carpet appearances and behind-the-scenes footage. In addition, a physical space will open just outside Milan, creating a permanent hub for historians and devotees. Together, the archive, the exhibition and the runway frame the anniversary celebration as an ongoing narrative, anchoring Armani within Milan’s cultural identity.y.
