Dior Haute Couture Spring 2026: Jonathan Anderson's Cyclamen Garden Blooms at the Musée Rodin

John Galliano returned to Dior couture for the first time in fifteen years on Monday morning, watching from the front row at the Musée Rodin as Jonathan Anderson presented his haute couture debut for the Maison. Galliano had visited Anderson in the studio while the collection was being developed, arriving with two bunches of cyclamen he had picked himself. Those same flowers carpeted the ceiling of the Dior tent, their petals falling onto the audience throughout the 62-look show. Galliano sat beside Brigitte Macron, Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, Anya Taylor-Joy, Karlie Kloss, Pharrell Williams, and Lauren Sánchez Bezos.

Anderson Reimagines the Bar Jacket Worn Backwards and the Pannier as a Fanny Pack

Anderson opened with three dresses shaped like topiary cones, their pale chiffon stretched over curved armatures that widened from shoulder to hem. He translated the British Kenyan ceramicist Magdalene Odundo's vessel forms into gowns that swelled at the hip and narrowed at the ankle, their volumes held away from the body without touching it.

Knitwear appeared sculpted and falling from one shoulder, knotted at the front, executed in silk and wool blends. Lemarié worked cock plumes into skirts graded from deep red to pale violet, each feather hand laid to create ombré striations. The Bar jacket was shown in anthracite wool worn backwards, the collar riding up the spine and the vent opening across the collarbone. The pannier gown reappeared with its width compressed to the front of the body only, suspended from a belt like a fanny pack in duchesse satin.

Anderson introduced injection molded sculptural bags in high gloss resin. A silver mouse hung from chains. A ladybug minaudière opened at the hinge of its wings. Courgette shaped clutches appeared in green and cobalt blue. Earrings measured fifteen centimeters in diameter, constructed from cyclamen pink silk petals wired to form domes that covered the ear entirely.

The finale bride was Mona Tougaard. Her white gown carried no train. Five hundred individual silk petals, each cut and hand pleated, spiraled from the left hip to the right shoulder.
