Giorgio Armani unveils a heartfelt homage to the acclaimed fashion Florentine photographer Aldo Fallai with the exhibition “Aldo Fallai per Giorgio Armani, 1977-2021,” set to grace the Armani/Silos on Via Bergognone 40 starting December 5th.
This curated showcase, a collaborative masterpiece between the Piacenza-born maestro and the versatile Tuscan photographer, celebrates nearly three decades of artistic synergy. Opening its doors to the public on December 6th, the exhibition, personally curated by Giorgio Armani and supported by Rosanna Armani and Leo Dell’Orco, promises an unprecedented retrospective.
The official inauguration on December 4th marks the beginning of a visual journey into the timeless elegance immortalized by Aldo Fallai’s lens, capturing the essence of Giorgio Armani’s distinctive creations. The exhibition, running until August 11, 2024, offers an intimate look into the intense projects, ideas, and emotional currents that defined their artistic collaboration.
The carefully chosen venue, Armani/Silos, established in 2015 during Giorgio Armani’s 40th-anniversary celebrations, adds a touch of magic to this tribute. Divided into multiple sections, the exhibition weaves through pivotal chapters of the duo’s shared artistic journey. It’s a sincere tribute, a visual narrative of iconic images, and a testament to the evolution of Armani’s couture over time and space.
