THE KIMPTON ST. HONORÉ PARIS OFFERS A NEW LUXURY CHOICE IN PARIS CHALLENGING CONVENTION WITH QUIET CONFIDENCE, CASUAL ELEGANCE AND THE CAREFREE ATTITUDE TYPICAL OF PARISIAN CHIC

The Kimpton St. Honoré Paris, is the first property in IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury boutique hotel brand in France. Creative craftsmanship and authentic service are the hallmarks of this 1917 building, a true Art Nouveau gem. Nestled in the Opera district, just steps away from Place Vendôme, the Paris Opera, Faubourg St Honoré and the Tuileries Gardens.

Nestled at the La Samaritaine de Luxe, a former department store dating back to the early 20th century, has been meticulously converted by architect and interior designer Charles Zana into a luxurious space that combines sophistication and casualness. The influence of the 1930s and Art Deco is omnipresent in the 123 elegant rooms and 26 superb suites, inspired by Parisian apartments with their balconies, huge picture windows and hand-picked works of art, adding to the hotel’s emblematic touch of Parisian chic. The original breathtaking wooden staircase and elevator have been restored and are among the highlights of the hotel.

With Kimpton’s innovative approach to restaurants and bars and the brand’s focus on authentic human relationships, Kimpton St Honoré Paris will breathe fresh air into the French capital’s social and dining scene.

The first floor of the hotel is home to Montecito Restaurant & Bar where guests will discover interiors designed by Humbert & Poyet, warm service and a light-filled indoor patio.

Set amidst lush greenery, Montecito is a casual contemporary brasserie, where the influence of the many ethnic cuisines of the American West Coast can be felt. The colorful, bohemian-chic dishes, made with local ingredients and combining California panache with French opulence, will delight any palate. Specialties include fish tacos, crispy langoustine tostadas, carne asada, Cobb salad and truffle pizzetta. For breakfast and brunch, acai bowls and pancakes are featured.

On the 10th floor is Sequoia, a rooftop terrace bar designed by Charles Zana. It offers a panoramic view of Paris and its emblematic monuments such as the Eiffel Tower and the Opera Garnier. In a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, guests can enjoy fine wines and champagnes or a Mai Tai cocktail, Sequoia’s specialty.

You will appreciate Kimpton’s little extras, such as the Kimpton Morning Kickstart breakfast, which you can enjoy in the mezzanine library while sipping a coffee from Parisian roaster LOMI or a Kusmi Tea. Every day at 5:00 pm, the mezzanine also hosts the Kimpton Happy Hour, a popular meeting place for guests to get to know each other over free refreshments.

The hotel is also dedicated to relaxation and well-being with its heated indoor pool, state-of-the-art fitness center and spa where the French brand CODAGE welcomes guests in two superb treatment rooms.

As with all Kimpton hotels, thanks to a partnership with La Roue Libre, a local family-run specialty store just steps away from the hotel, bicycles are available for guests wishing to explore the city. The Kimpton St Honoré Paris has also enlisted the services of Bonne & Filou, a high-end dog treat company: macaroons await guests’ “best friends” upon their arrival. This approach is in line with the famous policy of all Kimpton hotels regarding the welcome of pets.
