The Rebel's Office Wardrobe
A teaser video set the tone before a single look appeared. Director Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovic, the latest filmmaker backed by Fondazione Prada, shot a young woman attempting to keep a desktop computer above water in a flooded office. Absurd, specific and completely Miu Miu. And the collection delivered exactly that energy. Eccentric trouser suits with ultra-high waists and shortened sleeves opened the show, trousers grazing the moss and wood chips on the runway by a deliberate eight centimeters. Then the same jacket reappeared as micro coat dresses, topped with trapper fur hats and dusted with sequins. And crinkled leather jumpsuits, cigarette trousers and silk blouses followed, all anchored by canyoning shoes or sparkling sneakers. The whole thing looked like it had been assembled by a Milanese woman raiding her wardrobe on a Tuesday morning: her mother's old coat, a borrowed silk top, new funky shoes and a handful of sequins. But the best part? It never looked like it was trying. Effortless in the way that only Miu Miu manages to be.

At 57, Actress Gillian Anderson walked the final exit in a short yellow dress richly embroidered with scintillating broderies, a plunging neckline and halter collar revealing a pale pink bra underneath. Alongside her, Actress Chloë Sevigny appeared in a leather jacket and skirt whose borders dissolved into shearling. And veterans Gemma Ward and Kristen McMenamy made everyone else on that runway look, as Miu Miu noted on Instagram, like "the smallness of our human bodies in the immensity of our world." Fashion's New Equation: Age Is the Point
Anderson's closing exit was not a casting curiosity. It was a statement that landed in the context of an entire season making the same argument. At Gucci, Model Kate Moss, 52, made a remarkable return to the runway. At Tom Ford, Creative Director Haider Ackermann cast several models with grey and white hair.
